Ultimate Pole Machine: Robert Kubica dusted the competition in the sands of Bahrain to give BMW-Sauber their first ever pole position. Sunday’s race will see the Polish driver start a Formula 1 race from pole position for the first time in his career. The Krakow Kid was very successful in karting and is past winner of Italian championship and Monaco Kart Cup. He was 2005 World Series by Renault champion. His first F1 podium was at Monza in 2006.
