Interview with Petri Suvanto

Petri Suvanto is a young man from Seinajoki in Finlandia. He is on the Heikki Kovalainen programme; very quick and always smiling. After a successful karting career, he moved into single seater racing, the Formula BMW Europe series, in 2010 with Josef Kaufmann Racing.

After the season he hopped on a big o jetliner to Amerika. Then he hitch hiked across FLA to St Petersburg where he teamed up with Cape Motorsports and together they won the 2011 USF2000 Championship in grand style.

This season he is racing in Star Mazda series with Pelfrey team and we wish him all the best. His goal is to become the first Finnish driver to drink milk at the Brickyard after 500 miles.

Among the things which have impressed Petri on this side of the pond, the vastness of America, the friendly peeps and the joy and pride of Florida cuisine – the Red Neck Burger!
