Lewis Hamilton’s replacement, the Mexican driver Sergio Pérez, arrived at McLaren on Wednesday, starting a career at the Woking-based manufacturers which he hopes will bring him the Formula One world title. Pérez, who previously drove for Sauber, finished last season poorly with no points from his last six races, but did manage three podium places in 2012 including second place in Malaysia and Italy.
