SON OF DAMON HILL TO CONTEST F3 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP-
Josh Hill and Dmitry Suranovich will contest the 2013 FIA Formula 3 European Championship for Fortec Motorsport. 22-year-old Josh Hill, the son of the 1996 Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill, joins Puerto Rican Felix Serralles and Brazilian Luis Felipe Derani as third Fortec driver and the quartet will be completed by Russia’s 17-year-old former GP3 driver Dmitry Suranovich.
With just 22 days to go to the season kick-off at Monza, Hill is looking forward to the new challenge: “It’s great to be racing in the 2013 F3 European Championship. It’s a hugely prestigious championship that represented a major step in the careers of drivers such as Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. At the same time, it also is an extremely competitive series. I just can’t wait for contesting my first tests and the first race at Monza.
