F1Weekly Familia member Jason Bentley – aka “The Original JB” – took his annual trip to the Australian Grand Prix in his hometown. We are pleased to share his lovely images of historic racing machines.

Jack Brabham and his engineer Ron Tauranac – the BT in Brabham cars – put Australia firmly on the map of Formula 1.

The King of Kiwis. Bruce McLaren came from a little island in the big pond. This car found success in SCCA racing in the United States.
